For a moment, their fans celebrated a seemingly decisive victory. But at the AVC Men's Volleyball Asian Championship in Fukuoka, a 3-0 win was not enough. Bahrain still failed to reach the quarterfinals. India took the last spot as the second-best third-placed team among the pools. Bahrain and India finished tied on wins, points and set ratio.
